Overview

Spiritual Development Programme

Since 2019, the Madrasah Centre of Excellence (MCE) has been running the Spiritual Development Programme (SDP) – a highly impactful training course designed to support the growth of Madrasah teachers.

The SDP combines modern, interactive teaching methods with the timeless wisdom of Islamic scholarship. It provides teachers with practical tools to strengthen their own spirituality and, in turn, positively shape the lives of the children they teach.

Packed with useful tips, relatable real-life examples, inspirational stories of pious individuals, and reflections on carefully selected Qur’anic verses and traditions, the programme offers a unique and transformative learning experience for every teacher.

This manual and its accompanying workbook help the reader advance on the spiritual course step by step. All practical tips in the manual are bolstered by convincing theoretical explanations and supported by helpful examples. I am sure all those who are eager to move further on the path of spirituality will benefit from this work.

Shaykh Mohammad Saeed Bahmanpour

This manual and workbook are blessings which if utilised properly can facilitate generations of spiritual prosperity. The primary aim of the books is to enable madrasah teachers to communicate religion in a state of inner purity and spirituality. The works can also serve as guides for others who aspire to transform themselves. Every house should try to procure them and apply their principles.
