Relationships and Self Education

Developed in collaboration with Jaffaria Academy, the RSE Curriculum supports students in navigating sensitive and important topics through a clear Shia Islamic framework.

It includes 65 madrasah-centred lessons and 330 comprehensive lessons designed for use in schools, covering areas such as gender interaction, grief and bereavement, self-harm and suicide, relationships, and many of the wider pressures and challenges students may encounter as they grow.

The curriculum is built on strong foundational learning, helping students understand the soul, social hijab, personal responsibility, and the importance of putting Allah (SWT) first in the choices they make and the actions they take.

Developed under the guidance of senior scholars and grounded in robust Islamic sources, the RSE Curriculum is delivered by trained RSE teachers through age-appropriate content. It supports educators in approaching sensitive subjects with confidence, clarity and care, while giving students a strong Islamic framework through which to understand themselves, their relationshps and the world around them, whilst keeping Allah (SWT) at the center.
