The RSE Training Programme gives teachers the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to handle sensitive topics with clarity, care and professionalism.
Grounded in a Shia Islamic framework, the training covers the foundations of the RSE curriculum and the teaching approaches it requires. Teachers learn how to lead age-appropriate discussions on topics such as relationships, gender interaction, grief and bereavement, self-harm and suicide.
The training shows teachers how to create safe and respectful learning environments and how to respond well to difficult questions. It also helps them guide students back to core principles, including understanding the soul, social hijab, personal responsibility and putting Allah (SWT) first in their choices and in the way they live.
Above all, the programme ensures that RSE is not simply taught as information. Teachers learn to guide lessons in a way that helps students reflect, engage and apply Islamic guidance to real-life situations.
